Possible Gold for Malaysia in U-9 Girls Asian School !

Under 9 Girls Category

Teh De Zen just won her game against Kothalawala of Sri Lanka with the perfect score of 8/8 and still leading the pack by 1 point. She might meet Herath or Thuduwage Yasasirini Pabasara from Sri Lanka for the last round. Most probably will be Herath if my calculations are correct.

Teh De Juan is still fighting against the Indian 1st seed Aryan Chopra with material even. Let me give some insight of Aryan Chopra. Aryan is just only 8 years old and hailed from Delhi. He’s one of the chess prodigy in India just like our Malaysian Yeoh Li Tian whom is playing at the Penang Heritage Open 2010 currently. He recently become Commonwealth under-10 champion, Asian Under-8 Gold Medalist and others. Click here to read more on Aryan. As I recalled in the Penang Heritage Open 2010, there were 2 chess prodigies playing. The other prodigy was Paulo Bersamina from Phillipines. He was the recent 3rd placing winner in the Asian Youth in Beijing & also the next Wesley So according to the NCFP of Phillipines, Pichay.
