It would be interesting to see China parade their strongest lineup for this tournament & also they are the host for the first time. Chinese woman players like Hou Yifan, Xu Yuhua, Zhao Xue, Shen Yang, Huang Qian & Ju Wenjun while the Mens team are Wang Yue, Bu Xiangzhi, Ni Hua, Wang Hao, Zhou Jianchao, Li Chao & etc.... Besides that Bulgaria also send their World No 1 Veselin Topalov for this event. We also get the chance to see current Women World Champion, ALEKSANDRA KOSTENYUK in action. Recently concluded SPICE tournament, the champion HARIKRISHNA PENTALA from India will spearhead the challenge. For the Asean challenge, we can see GM like Mark Paragua (Phi), Adianto Utut (Ina), Datmo Best Woman player Sukandar Irine Kharisma (Ina), Zhang Zhong (Sin), Wu Shaobin (Sin), WGM Li Ruofan (Sin), Nguyen Ngoc Truong Son (Vie) & Vietnam teenage sensation Le Quang Liem (Vie).
