Sarawak Open Chess Championship 2008 (31 Oct - 3 Nov)

Dear chess friends,

Sarawak Chess Association will be organising its 2008 Sarawak Open Chess Championship from 31 October till 3 November 2008 at Ultimate Professional Centre, 3rd Floor, Jalan Bukit Mata Kuching, Kuching, Sarawak. This 9-round Swiss Event will be FIDE rated with time control of 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move.

(Top prize sharing to encourage all-out matches)

16 and Under (born on or after 1 Jan 1992)
Champion: RM 100/=

4th - 5th: RM 30/=
6th - 8th RM 20/=

Entrance fee is RM50/= per head. RM25/= for ladies & 16 under
