GM Li Shilong did what his compatriot, GM Li Chao failed to win in the 3rd PGMA tournament. GM Li Shilong 'already' won the tournament although in the last round he drew against GM Ehsan Ghaemmaghami & scored 7.5 out of 9 rounds. In the round 8 he was holding 1 point lead against the chasing pack. GM Iuldashev Saidali managed to recover the setback from the 3rd PGMA to earn 2nd place with a win against Rolando Nolte. Once again GM Zhang Zhong had to settle for the 2nd time 3rd placing in the tie-break after drew GM Mikheil Mchedlishvili.
