2009 Games Festival

There will be 3 chess events competing at the Games Festival 2009 from 26th April - 4th May at Thessaloniki, Greece. In the chess section more than 600 players are expected, featuring GM Grivas, GM Bojkov, GM Vladimir Georgiev and many other top class participants. The event will have World School Chess Championships, World Amateur Chess Championship & International Chess Open Thessaloniki.

Adding the 300 participants in the bridge competition, the 100 in the scrabble, the 100 in the sudoku, and the 100 in the darts, the participation of the Games festival grows to over 1000 players.
