The top 4 players (based on tie break results) from this event will be invited to play in a round robin event on 11 and 12 April 2009 at The Dato’Arthur Tan Chess Center in Wilayah Kompleks. Selection for WORLD, ASIAN, ASEAN & other Age-Group events will be based on these results, subject to acceptance of conditions of all Malaysian Chess Federation regulations.
